Original Announcement: 4-25-22
TO ALL CLIENTS:
As you know, an invoice summary email goes out every Tuesday, letting you know that your invoice is ready to view, and offers a summary of sorts, which "lumps" together some of the individual fees and then lists the total amount for your weekly invoice.
Effective May 3rd, 2022, that invoice summary format will change. You will still receive an email letting you know that your invoice is ready to view in your Fulfillment Control Panel dashboard, but only the link to your FCP dashboard will be provided in that email.
Our goal here is to make it so that clients will have to log in to view their actual invoice, which shows detail for every order, receiving fees, storage amounts per SKU, and the weekly fees incurred. There is also the option to download your weekly invoice at that time. Please do this!
We have always strongly recommended this be done at that time for several reasons.....
-
You should review your invoice in detail and check for any discrepancies or charges you might feel are incorrect so that we can get any corrections/adjustments issued immediately. We do make errors and you need to be sure you have reviewed everything before we charge your payment method on Wednesday.
-
The downloaded version of your invoice will allow you to record every fee paid to EFS over the course of the year which makes it easy for your record-keeping department and/or accountant to record.
-
Any large charges are outlined in red – which calls attention to orders that were billed with a high value so that you can review it first, or be sure to review it!
-
You will note the small “I” icons in blue that allow you to click on them for additional details.
We want to give you the chance to ask any questions or give any feedback regarding this change, so again, the original Invoice Summary email will not be discontinued until Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022.
Please contact us via the Zendesk ticket system with any questions or feedback. We appreciate your patronage and want to hear from you.
