Putting an Order On Hold
The Fulfillment Control Panel will allow clients to put an order into an On Hold status via their Client Dashboard.
You may need to put an order On Hold for any number of reasons such as waiting to hear back from a customer with additional details, or to make sure the order does not batch or print until you have had time to create a support ticket for any issues related to that order.
Remember: You can only put an order on hold if it is still in the Pending (open/yellow box) status.
1. Locate the Order You Want to Put on Hold
On your dashboard, go to the Orders tab and select Search/Edit Orders. Enter the search field criteria (below shows Last Name and a date range used) desired.
Click on the Details icon shown below. This brings up the order detail shown in the screenshot below that, and on that page you will see the HOLD button.
3. Enter Your Hold Criteria
After you have clicked on the HOLD button, you can fill in when you would like the hold to end, in any of the formats shown below in the yellow box, and include an explanation of why you are changing the status of the order to On Hold (this is optional). Click on the Hold Order button.
4. SUCCESS!
If the process is successful, you will see the screen below. There is also a link at the bottom of the yellow box should you want to cancel the HOLD status before the date and time you originally entered.
