REDACTION OF PII FOR ALL ORDERS - EFFECTIVE APRIL 2nd, 2021

IMPORTANT!  THIS WILL AFFECT ORDERS FOR ALL CLIENTS!

As most of you know, per Amazon’s data privacy and retention policies, we began redacting personally identifiable information (PII) from orders within 15 days of shipment.  Historically, redaction has applied in the following cases:

  • We have identified the order source as a direct Amazon integration.
  • We have received an order-specific redaction request.

Effective April 2nd, 2021, we will be applying these redaction policies to all orders, regardless of source.  This means any order, coming through via any integration channel, manually entered orders, and orders imported by CSV files, within 15 days of shipment.

We are moving forward with this policy change to reduce our overall risk for storing PII, and because we cannot always explicitly identify Amazon orders in general.

If there is any order information you wish to retrieve from the Fulfillment Control Panel for non-Amazon orders, you will want to make arrangements to do so by running the necessary reports.  You can utilize the Transaction Spreadsheet, or your weekly invoices.

  • "Reports" > "Transaction Spreadsheet"
  • "Billing" > "View Invoices" > Click on one of the "download details" CSV options.  Note:  Invoices can only be downloaded one (1) week at a time.

This action is not reversible, so any requests made after 4-2-21 for orders that have had their PII redacted, will not be possible.

You will still be able to see the SKUs and quantities ordered, pricing, shipping method, and other order details as you did before.
