NOTICE! USPS SUSPENDS ALL MAIL SERVICE TO CANADA EFFECTIVE 11-29-24

 

Due to the Canada Post strike, the United States Postal Service has suspended all mail services to Canada effective Friday, November 29th, 2024.

The ePost mail service offered by eFS has now also made the announcement that they are no longer providing service to Canada.

International Service Suspension Notice – effective November 29, 2024

 

Effective November 29, 2024, the Postal Service will suspend international mail acceptance to Canada until further notice due to unavailable transportation.

 

Customers are asked to refrain from mailing items addressed to the following country, until further notice:

 

  • Canada

 

This service disruption affects Priority Mail Express International® (PMEI), Priority Mail International® (PMI), First-Class Mail International® (FCMI), First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®), International Priority Airmail® (IPA®), International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®), and M-Bag® items.

 

Unless otherwise noted, service suspensions to a particular country do not affect the delivery of military and diplomatic mail.

 

 

The Postal Service is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to update customers until the situation returns to normal.
