TO ALL CLIENTS WITH AN ACTIVE WIX INTEGRATION
As some of you may know, last month Wix introduced a feature that will allow you to cancel or edit an order AFTER it has been pulled by our integration server. They even allow a "fulfilled"/shipped order to be edited, as long as you are not removing items that have been fulfilled.
We have other integration modules that have this feature as well, but they also recognize when fulfillment has already been requested and sent to our servers, and notify the client they are not able to cancel or edit.
Because the Wix integration server is not set up to notify us, this still gives you the false notion that you can cancel orders that have already shipped in our system and as we know, they cannot be canceled at that point.
Our development team has spent time trying to work with Wix developers to explain why this system does not work, to no avail, unfortunately.
Given these facts, we are instructing our clients with Wix integrations that this feature will not work properly with our integration, and we cannot be responsible for any edits or cancellations coming directly from your Wix cart.
