POSSIBLE SERVICE DISRUPTION FOR USPS/ASENDIA SHIPMENTS TO CANADA

EFS has been monitoring the problems with labor negotiations within Canada Post.

While there is still time for them to reach an agreement, we want to give fair warning that if they do not come to an agreement, service disruption will occur.

This will affect Canada Post therefore affect USPS into Canada.  All international parcels and mail going into Canada via a USPS service get delivered by Canada Post for the last leg of delivery.  So if the strike happens nothing will get delivered.

If the strike does happen, both USPS, and Asendia will be holding parcels until the strike ends.  While Canadian citizens are most likely following this situation, and probably won't order anything from the U.S. until it is settled, you may also wish to put a notice on your site as well.

Please contact us through the ticket support system if you have any questions.  We will update you with details as they become available.
