Winter storms, ice and wind have caused flight delays and cancellations from Georgia up through Maine. Major airports, including Washington Dulles, Newark and JFK have shut down most of their cargo operations. Many transportation companies have cancelled deliveries and pick ups at least for the day. Travel throughout the east coast is treacherous and many roads and highways are closed.
Severe weather in the form of ice and hurricane force winds are affecting deliveries across North West and North East England, Wales and Scotland. Flood warnings throughout South East and South West England have also delayed deliveries. Additional warnings have bee issued for the Midlands and East Anglia.

Strike Update-South Africa
The strike is now over and all workers have returned to work. The small backlog that had accumulated will be cleared by the end of the week. Delays were not widespread.
