Problems continue in the routes listed above due to changing handlers at their overseas hubs. Mail and cargo delivery will be delayed for the next week and possibly longer.
Due to the political situation, dispatching of all mail products to Syria is currently suspended.
Delivery of postal items continues to be delayed because of the infrastructure damage and communication blackouts from Super Typhoon Haiyan. The worst hit areas are Samar, Leyte and Northern Cebu provinces. Postal service in these areas have been badly affected.
The strike in Chile has now ended. Mail delivery has resumed with no further delays expected.
Postcode area 90xxx is currently affected by heavy rain and flooding. Some post offices in the affected areas are unable to open as usual and mail operations and delivery of all postal items are subject to delays.
At the present time, there is a backlog of mail being sent to the Seychelles. The delay in mail delivery has been ongoing.
Industrial action will cause delays in mail delivery in the following areas: Sicilia, Fruili, Veneto and Trentino.
East coast states of Peninsular Malaysia (Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang) as well as the southernmost state of Johor, are experiencing monsoon rains and heavy flooding. As a result, many post offices are closed. Roads and highways to the coast areas are also inaccessible to traffic, cutting off mail and parcel delivery to those areas.
